Fees & Term Dates

FEES

ALL CLASSES ARE ONLINE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Fees are by donation as many of us have lost our income in the current health crisis and it is important that the children stay active.  The donation can be anything from £1 – £5 per class.

In Person Classes  will be charged in the following way once classes restart at Haggerston Community Centre:

Primary, Grades 1, 3 & 4 Ballet, Junior and Senior Contemporary (45/60 min class) – £8 per class

Intermediate Foundation Ballet (75 mins) – £10 per class

Intermediate Ballet  (90 min class) – £12 per class

There is a 20% discount on the total cost of weekly classes for siblings, dancers doing more than one class and for those who receive benefits – please be prepared to show written evidence of benefit. Once paid, fees are non-refundable. Fees for those doing multiple classes will be advised to parents.

TERM DATES

Winter Term 2020  – Monday 7th Sept – Thursday 17th December – 14 teaching weeks     Maximum fee £70.

Half term – October 26th – 30th   – there will be no classes this week

Terms and Conditions

Payment of Fees

Fees for the term are payable in advance. It is a condition of attendance at the school that fees are paid by the end of the first week. An email will be sent to parents before the end of each term advising them of the next term’s fee unless notification has been received that you no longer require a place at the school. Termly fees do not include fees for examinations, private lessons, extra exam coaching classes or uniform.

Exam Fees

If your child is taking an exam, fees must be paid at the latest, two months in advance of the examination date. Exam fees are non-refundable. If your child is ill or incapacitated on the day of the exam, a 50% refund may be available from the Royal Academy of Dance. This will require a doctor’s certificate for which your surgery may charge a fee.

Refunds

Termly fees are non-refundable. If your child is ill or unable to attend a class, they may attend a catch up class, online, in an alternative lesson at the discretion of the school. However, if an arrangement cannot be made, we cannot be held responsible nor can the classes be credited.
